What began as a few beginner Mahjong classes has become something much bigger. We've watched strangers become tablemates and confidence grow with every game, and we kept hearing that same question.
People weren't just falling in love with American Mahjong. They were falling in love with gathering around the table. The Club makes it easy to keep those connections going, because gathering shouldn't happen only once.

Is The Club right for me if I'm still learning?
Absolutely. The Club is for anyone who enjoys gathering around the table. Whether you're taking your first beginner class or looking forward to regular Open Play, membership gives you first pick of classes and events and keeps you connected to our Mahjong Social community.
Is Open Play really included?
Yes. Admission to every Open Play session is complimentary for Club Members. Reservations are still required so we can set up enough tables for everyone.
Are classes included?
Instructional classes are not included and are available at the regular class rate. Club Members get 48 hours to register before classes open to the public.
How does the 48-hour early access work?
When we release the next month's schedule of beginner classes, Open Play and select Mahjong Social events, Club Members receive an email 48 hours before booking opens to the public. It's the best way to get your preferred dates.
How does my monthly table reservation work?
Club Members receive one complimentary Reserve the Table each calendar month. Reservations are required and depend on availability.
Can I bring a friend?
Friends are welcome to reserve their own seat once registration opens to the public, if space is available. Complimentary Open Play is for the Club Member only.
Can someone else use my membership?
No. Membership benefits belong to the named member and are non-transferable.
What happens after December 31, 2026?
Founding memberships are valid through December 31, 2026. Beginning January 2027, membership continues at $200 a year, billed $50 each quarter.
Do I need to reserve ahead?
Yes. Advance reservations are required for Open Play, classes and Reserve the Table. Space depends on the number of Mahjong tables, and we'll keep adding more ways to gather as our community grows.
